Support Welsh National Opera Choristers: Write to the WNO

Write to the WNO's directors and urge them to reconsider their current plans to reduce the full-time WNO chorus to just 20 singers – half of its size a decade ago. 

The chorus has long been an integral part of the WNO’s success and the cultural fabric of Wales. The reduction in the number of choristers, compounded by the move towards compulsory redundancy, threatens not only the livelihoods of these talented individuals but also the future of the Opera itself. As professional singers, they face a precarious future with limited opportunities for sustainable employment, particularly in Wales where such roles are already few and far between. 

Every voice matters. Stand with the chorus in advocating for a future where their talents can continue to thrive and contribute to the cultural heritage of Wales.
