Email your MP to ask them to urge the Government to abandon changes to Universal Credit

The £20 uplift to Universal Credit and the suspension of the Minimum Income Floor were put in place at the start of the pandemic to help people avoid destitution.

Despite our industry still feeling the economic effects of Covid-19, the Government reintroduced the Minimum Income Floor in August and the £20 uplift is due to be withdrawn at the end of September.

Message your MP and ask them to write to the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions urging the Government to abandon these dangerous plans, which could plunge thousands of Equity members into poverty.
